My stay at Mercure Hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were really smelly but had a balcony facing the vibrant streets of Porte d'Orleans, plus a handy mini-fridge. The service was very helpful with transport suggestions but a bit inconvenient for basic supplies like toilet roll and towels. The location was perfect with excellent transport connections but not in the city center. The dining experience was good value at €12 per person but excluded from the price.
